
Dr. Samuel Enyew
DPM, AACFASDr. Enyew is a board qualified Foot and Ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies at the university of Maryland Baltimore county (UMBC) and then earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. After obtaining his degree, he then completed an extensive four-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at the New York-Presbyterian Queens in New York City.
During his training, Dr. Enyew was exposed to all manner of foot and ankle pathologies ranging from heel pain, ingrown nails, tendonitis, arthritis, and lacerations, all the way to the complicated foot and ankle trauma and reconstructive surgery. He was also fortunate to spend a significant portion of his senior year at NYP Columbia & NYP Weill Cornell. At NYP Columbia, he furthered his knowledge of sports medicine and complicated elective reconstructive surgeries. At NYP Weill Cornell, Dr. Enyew worked with the Program for Advanced Limb Preservation (PALP) team which furthered his expertise in preventing major amputation and managing complicated ulcers & infections as part of a comprehensive interdisciplinary team.
Aside from his podiatric residency, Dr. Enyew loves to continue improving his surgical skills and furthering his medical knowledge. He has attended many lectures and courses, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgical conferences, Arthroscopy Skills Courses, Limb Deformity Courses in Baltimore, Maryland and a mini-fellowship in Dermatopathology with Bako Laboratories.
Dr. Enyew believes that patient care centers around the patient, not just the pathology. He seeks to tailor a patient’s treatment plan to their specific circumstances and ensures that you will understand what is happening every step of the way.
